![]() Having lived among demons for years, Emma has realized that they too have families and are not purely evil. Season 1 has made it clear that she's a pacifist who will avoid casualties at all costs. Norman has found out that demons' brains degenerate if they don't consume human meat and has come up with a way to hasten the process, ending them and making the world safe for humans again. ![]() Being the genius that he is, Norman managed to escape along with other humans who - though older than him - treat him as their superior and heed his orders. Rather than being eaten by demons, Norman was taken to a different plantation that experimented on children. But halfway through the episode, it becomes clear that their friendship might never again be uncomplicated. Emma, Ray, and Norman are together again in an emotional, if too idealized, and convenient reunion. While episode 5 was quite action-packed, with the children on the run, episode 6 was all about emotional conflict.
